About Us

Union College, founded in 1795, is renowned for being the first Liberal Arts college to offer an engineering curriculum to its students. The Liberals Arts background allows the students to apply a holistic approach to engineering problems and encourage interdisciplinary connections and relations.
The Engineers Without Borders Union College chapter was established in 2007. Founded by Dimitry Geler and Rebecca Damberg-Mauser, the club was organized in order to bring together students from various disciplines and focus their skills and talents to help other communities in need.

The club is currently focusing on starting their first project, it's a water supply project based in the Boru village, Ethiopia. This project was approved by the EWB national organization and we plan on doing the site survey in April 2008.
